Wesley Benn - Director |
| Benn Design |
|
Wesley is the founder and convener of the Revit Technology Conference series. As a long-term user and advocate of Revit, Wesley has been speaking and teaching in the field since starting to play with a pre-release version of the software.
Benn Design (www.benndesign.com.au) is a full service architectural practice, with projects ranging from houses to retail, health and aged care, and commercial development projects. The firm also has a very active drafting and outsourcing group working on numerous retail, commercial, project home, resort, and education projects.
Wesley provides training and support, implementation and mentoring, custom programming and content creation to Revit-based clients throughout south-east Asia. He also works directly with Autodesk on Revit development and implementation.
Lately, the localisation and distribution of Archetype - practice and project management software for design offices - has been added into the mix to reflect in management the ideas of leverage and integration that Revit has reinforced in design.
Wesley is a regular speaker at events throughout Australia and overseas talking about technology, Integrated Practice, and facilities management, he founded (and chaired for 5 years) the Revit User Group, Sydney, is an occasional speaker and design jury member at UNSW, hopes to be moving into a new home by the time you read this, and is still hanging onto his wife and 3 children... |

Phil Read – Partnerships Manager |

| |
Phil Read is an industry leader in research and development on BIM, visualization, and cloud-based collaboration. After working in both civil engineering and architecture, he downloaded Revit version 1.0 (at the suggestion of an ArchiCAD reseller) and was hooked. Less than a year later, he began working for Revit Technology and then Autodesk as a project implementation specialist, where he had the honor and pleasure of working with some of the most remarkable people and design firms around the world helping them to implement BIM within their own workflows. He’s a regular speaker, blogger, Twitterer, author and relishes the role of “change agent” as long as it makes sound business sense. And in addition to holding degrees in Communications, Architecture, and a Masters Degree in Architecture, Phil suggests you check out the music of the Flat Tires from Hickory, North Carolina. |
